  • You must have a working microphone and be able to engage verbally with other members.
  • Discrimination of any kind, including but not limited to on the basis of sex, sexual orientation, race, or age, will not be tolerated.
  • Threats made against other players, staff members, or city infrastructure will not be tolerated.
  • We want our community to be as free of toxicity as possible. Any and all forms of OOC bullying or harassment will not be tolerated.
  • Discussion of religion or politics either in city or in the Discord is not permitted.

General In-City Guidelines

  • All efforts must be taken to remain in character at all times
  • Any out-of-character issues between citizens should be resolved without any staff involvement unless absolutely necessary. If this is not possible, then /report to request a staff member.
  • RDM and VDM are not permitted.
  • Meta-Gaming or power gaming is strictly forbidden. This includes any means by which information is gained by external means outside of the city such as a stream or discord.
  • We are a streamer-friendly community. Keep that in mind when having discussions as someone may potentially be streaming. Use of trigger words or other language that may impact our streamer’s relationship with their streaming platform must be kept to a minimum.
  • Identification of other citizens in the city by their voice is not allowed. However, commonly worn clothing, hair styles, scars or tattoos can be used as partial identifiers.
  • City speed limits are:
  • 65 in city limits
  • 75 in the county
  • 85 on the highways.
  • All commercial vehicles are able maintain the same speed limits as civilian vehicles.
  • You are allowed to rob other players. You may do this if they are standing or on their side. However, you may only take from them weapons and other illegal items. Rules regarding RDM and NITRP still apply.
  • You may not rob law enforcement or medical personnel.

Interacting with Law Enforcement.

  • Use of force. If you’re being pursued by police, officers will take all care to apprehend you non-violently when possible. However, brandishing a weapon permits them to use lethal force.
  • Assaulting any officer with bare hands, any melee weapon, etc may result in PD using lethal force against you at officer discretion.
  • Firing on any officer at any time for any reason permits all other available officers to attach to the scene. For example, if you’re in a 2v2 house robbery scene, but there are 6 police available, the moment you fire a weapon at an officer will make the scene become 2v6.
  • You are allowed to fire weapons from a moving vehicle. However, the contingencies from the Use of Force section above still apply.
  • If you are put on your side during a scene, you are considered to be out of that scene. If you are revived by medical personnel, you must leave the area.
  • If a law enforcement officer asks you for identification, they are allowed to detain you if you do not comply. Not identifying yourself may result in detainment.
  • All available robberies in the city are considered “smash-and-grab.” If police arrive before you finish, you attempt to talk your way out, or you may flee. If police have not arrived, you are not required to wait, you may just flee.
  • The number of criminals on a robbery scene may not exceed the number of on-duty officers. Otherwise, there is no limit to how many civilians are allowed to participate in any robbery scene.
  • RDM’ing or VDM’ing the police is not permitted. You may not simply gun down or otherwise kill police officers without RP or with no reason. This is considered NITRP and is not allowed. Verified instances of NITRP with the police may result in anonymous tips and warrants being issued.
  • In a high speed chase, there is no reason to stop the chase if you wreck. The city is coded to disable your vehicle when it decides it has received too much damage. Particularly hard wrecks can disable your vehicle in one shot, so caution is advised when attempting to flee law enforcement.
  • In a high speed chase, officers are allowed to re-attach to a chase if their vehicles become disabled. The only time a law enforcement officer is required to detach from a scene or chase is if they are put on their side or back.
  • Law enforcement officers remember their interactions with you from previous scenes.
  • Escalations of criminal activity may result in escalations of law enforcement response tactics. If you’re engaging in rapid-fire back-to-back crimes, law enforcement have the discretion to become more aggressive in their attempts to apprehend you.

Cayo Perico

The island of Cayo Perico is accessible in our city, and is considered to be a foreign country. Please take note of the following guidelines regarding Cayo Perico:

***Note that the following rules regarding the CPMP are subject to change at any time. We consider our implementation of the CPPD to be experimental and reserve the right to make any changes we see fit to hinder abuse of these rules as much as possible. Our goal here is to provide a different type of RP that is typically not allowed in other cities, however we are cautious of people taking advantage of this very different ruleset.

  • The border on the Cayo Perico side is considered to be where the asphalt ends.
  • The border on the San Andreas side is considered to be the gates at the end of the bridge.
  • The bridge itself is considered to be under the jurisdiction of both the Cayo Perico Military Police (CPMP) and the San Andreas police departments.
  • Cayo Perico has limited services compared to San Andreas. It may not be possible to receive proper medical care on the island, especially from local medical personnel.
  • San Andreas based police departments are not allowed to enter Cayo Perico without the express permission of the CPMP. Officers from any of the San Andreas police departments are only allowed up to where the bridge meets the island.
  • Cayo Perico is a police state. As such, the Cayo Perico Military Police (CPMP) is heavily armed and militarized.
  • The Cayo Perico Military Police is a corrupt police force. As such, the CPMP are able to accept bribes, look the other way on crime, or behave in other ways that San Andreas based departments may not.
  • You do not have the same rights on Cayo Perico as you do in San Andreas. Because the CPMP is corrupt, and because the island is a foreign police state, CPMP officers are not required to have probable cause to search you or your vehicle, or to detain you. However, detainment is limited to the depth of the RP.
  • Cayo Perico police officers do not receive dispatch alerts for crimes committed on the island. They are only able to pursue crimes that they themselves have observed. However, please keep in mind the guideline regarding your rights on the island above.
  • Cayo Perico police officers must still follow Use of Force rules. CPMP officers are not allowed to gun you down or otherwise RDM you unless you draw a weapon on them or fire upon them.
